After her term on AI, Sumita Vasudeva researched and wrote
for the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural
Organization (UNESCO). Her other endeavors included
organizing the 1996 Asia Pacific Economic Council (APEC)
Business Forum.
In
the United States, Sumita worked with an opinion research
firm and eventually returned to non-profit work with the
Arts and Business Council of Sacramento. She
simultaneously established her own company, Omni Wellness,
as she is also a certified yoga instructor and a clinical
ayurvedic specialist.
She
is currently residing in Bangalore, India, where she is
furthering her studies in 'healing arts'.
