For Ranjit life in AIESEC was one full time commitment. Involved at LC level projects and organizing study tours to factories. Coordinated the Reception function for Trainees and arranged PG accommodation for them. Later moved to the NC as Projects and was in charge of AIESEC Global Seminar Series. Seminars on Sustainable Development were held at Calcutta, Bangalore, Pune and Delhi IIT. Sponsorship for the same was from Ministry of Environment & Forests and attended by more than 500 students from all over India.

AIESEC was the first step in learning about life and human relationships in a competitive environment. It has the capacity to modulate a little of all that one will face in the coming times in a nutshell. It helps prepare a trial ground for mistakes that have a great meaning and impact on molding ones personality. One learns and experiences everything from politics, friendship, team work, failure, elections and success in the brief exposure.

The interesting feature about AIESEC is that one's gain is directly and surely proportional to the involvement that one gives. It's always gain and the best way to invest one's time in that phase of life.

Ranjit finished his schooling in Bangalore and Mumbai. He Graduated from St. Xavier's in BA Economics. He is currently working in his family business of 133 years which manufactures a full range of Ayurvedic formulations. He currently holds the executive responsibility for their group as CEO. He is active in representing the Ayurvedic sectors in India and represents the Industry in many forums.

He was married Suvarna in 2001 and is now settled in Mumbai.
