In popular folklore, the name "Big Apple' is usually traced to early jazz musicians . Often, the explanation of the so-called "origin" of this phrase is accompanied with plausible-sounding historical details, giving it an unmistakable (but alas, totally spurious) "ring of truth." This question continues to excite curiosity....
Come out and Rock the Big Apple on Friday April 18th, with Nancy Danino (www.myspace.com/nancydanino1) and her band who entertain with Jazz and R&B influenced originals and covers. Having already made a name for herself in Europe, be one of the first in the U.S. to discover her incredible stylings.
